Switching from CFU TV to streaming TV is simple. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you make the transition.

Step 1: Sign Up for a Streaming TV Service

Best all-in-one solution: CFU recommends YouTube TV, which offers a wide range of channels including local networks, a user-friendly interface and features like unlimited cloud DVR storage. You will need a Google account to sign up. Get started here.

Sports fans: Sports fans interested in regional sports networks like Marquee Network and Fan Duel Midwest should consider Fubo. Visit fubo.com to learn more. 

Local channel options: Some TV viewers only interested in local channels are choosing digital antennas as an inexpensive option. Or, a subscription to the Peacock streaming service with local KWWL news and NBC shows may meet your viewing needs. 

+You will also need internet service to sign up for streaming TV. If you do not have internet service, view Plans & Pricing for CFU’s internet service options here. Step 2: Get a Streaming Device

You can stream with:
  • Streaming devices: onn 4K plus device, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV Stick
  • Smart TVs (Roku, Samsung, LG, Vizio, etc.). Most TVs today are “smart” and can stream. You can easily add your streaming service app.  
  • Mobile devices/phones/tablets: iOS and Android
Tip: If your TV is not smart, an onn 4K plus device or Fire TV Stick is an affordable way to get access.

Step 3: Set Up Your Streaming TV Service on Your Device

Download your streaming service app on your TV or device, sign in and get started.

Step 4: Cancel Your CFU TV Subscription
