Planned Fiber Maintenance Overnight Thursday for Northwest Cedar Falls

CFU will conduct fiber maintenance that will impact internet, TV and phone service for customers in northwest Cedar Falls overnight on Thursday, November 6. 

Maintenance is scheduled to begin at midnight and be completed by 6 a.m. Friday morning. Services will be restored as quickly as possible.

During this time, internet, TV and phone service will not be available. Communications technicians will replace fiber in preparation for City road reconstruction at the intersection of First Street and Union Road.

Impacted Area

The impacted area includes customers north of First Street and east of Union Road. Some customers south of First Street and north of 8th Street and will also be impacted. (See impact map here.)
