CFU TV to Retire Analog Channels in January

CFU retires analog channels

In January 2020, analog channels will no longer be available to CFU TV customers.

Analog technology is outdated and the equipment to provide analog signals is no longer readily available.

CFU TV will continue to offer digital standard definition and high definition channels which provide superior picture and sound quality.

If you connect your analog TV directly to the cable outlet, you need to take action to maintain service after January 14. To continue watching on an analog TV,  you must connect a digital tuner. CFU will provide one free digital tuner per customer for 12 months.

This will not affect customers who currently connect to TV service through a HD set-top box, DVR or EZHD Tuner or customers who plug-in a flat-screen digital TV directly with coax cable and watch the digital (QAM) channels.
