Help Families Heat Their Home with Add-A-Dollar Program

The Add-A-Dollar program is a simple, direct way to help families in need of support in our community. 

Donations made to the program assist with heating costs. 

Customers who are able to help can add a donation to their monthly utility bill. No administrative costs are charged, so every dollar donated goes to help needy households.

Last year, 105 households received assistance thanks to customers who donate to this important program. 

To add a donation to your bill, fill out the online form available at cfu.net/dollar. Or, complete the Add-A-Dollar section of your CFU monthly bill and mail it back. 

All Add-A-Dollar contributions are tax deductible and a year-to-date report is included on your monthly statement.

The City of Cedar Falls Department of Community Development administers the Add-A-Dollar funds and determines households that qualify.
