CFU Recognized for Excellence in Customer Communications

Cedar Falls Utilities was recently recognized by the American Public Power Association (APPA) with an Award of Merit for the 2024 
Annual Report publication. 

Each year APPA recognizes utilities with excellence in communications. This year, CFU was one of 53 utilities recognized out of the more than 2,000 public power utilities in the country. Awards were given to those that showed ingenuity and creativity in telling their stories through outstanding copy, design, financial data presentation and graphics.

"CFU is honored to be recognized by the APPA," says Mollie Strouse, CFU Marketing Manager. "As a public utility, CFU's role is to provide our community with the highest level of service and that includes communications efforts."
