As 2020 comes to a close, I want to take this time to thank our employees, customers and community.

CFU customers have been patient and supportive as we have made necessary adjustments to our policies and procedures to ensure we can continue to fulfill our mission while also protecting the health and safety of our community. 

Gas, water, electric and communication services continue thanks to our team who remain dedicated to meeting the needs of our customers.

Work to upgrade necessary infrastructure to ensure the safety and reliability of our utility services has persisted. 

Projects to move and replace gas and water mains in conjunction with City road reconstruction continues. Our crews and contractors made significant progress on a project to upgrade communications equipment and deliver next generation internet and TV services. 

Recently, an additional transformer was added to the Union Road substation which will support growth in the area and maintain reliable electric services for the community.

There is much to be thankful for. We are honored to serve the Cedar Falls community and will continue our work to ensure you receive the essential utilities you count on. Thank you for your continued support and have a safe and happy holiday season.
