CFU Receives High Satisfaction Scores in Recent Customer Survey

CFU customers enjoy the benefits of having a local, public utility that is able to provide reliable and affordable service.

We recently completed our biennial survey where we provide an opportunity for customers to tell us what is important to them and how we are performing. 

Once again, CFU customers told us they appreciate the level of service provided in Cedar Falls. Customer satisfaction ratings placed CFU staff above 9 on a 10-point scale. This score reflects the quality interaction customers experience with CFU employees.

"As a public utility, we know it is imperative we get feedback from the community on our performance," 
says Susan Abernathy, CFU General Manager.

"We are thrilled with the high levels of satisfaction and value customer input as we work to remain a responsive and reliable utility provider."

Customers were also asked to rank the top attributes of a municipal utility provider. For the past decade, be a reliable utility provider and keep prices low were selected as the most important.

"Our mission at CFU is to deliver high-quality services for the best value, and that drives every decision we make," says Susan. "Knowing that these priorities align with what matter most to our customers reassures us that we're on the right path."

The survey is conducted every two years and is a good gauge for current trends but also allows CFU 
to compare data over time.

"We're proud of these scores, but we know that doesn't mean our work is done. We know it means we keep striving towards excellence. Everyone at CFU shows up every day and puts in extra effort to ensure we are taking care of our friends and neighbors and we'll continue to do so."
