Cedar Falls High School Students Earn CFU Scholarship

Cedar Falls High School students Drew Campbell, Eli Flikkema and Joel Wildeboer were selected as the 2022 Cedar Falls Utilities scholarship recipients. 

Applicants must continue their education after high school in a utility related field and complete a CFU job shadow. The students will receive $1500 towards tuition. 

Drew will attend Hawkeye Community College to study to be an Electrician Eli plans to pursue an education in Urban Planning and Joel will enroll in the Electric Line Worker program at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College.

CFU's scholarship program is intended to make students aware of utility career opportunities as well as create a future generation of qualified job candidates for Cedar Falls Utilities. 

Up to three $1500 scholarships are available each year. More details are available by contacting the Cedar Falls High School counseling office.

Students interested in pursuing a utility related career are encouraged to complete a job shadow with CFU.
