CFU Webmail Service Has Ended

Cedar Falls Utilities has completed the process of disabling the @cfu.net webmail service as of November 1. All CFU email accounts have now been fully deactivated.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation throughout this transition.

Why Did CFU Eliminate Email?

CFU contracted with a vendor to provide the CFU webmail platform and to host the service. Unfortunately, there were security, reliability and data backup concerns with the email platform. Because of these concerns and free access to superior alternatives, CFU has eliminated email service.

Email Ending Schedule

Service was disabled in phases, alphabetically by account holder last name.

Account Holders with Last Names A-G: Email service ended July 1, 2025
Account Holders with Last Names H-N: Email service ended September 1, 2025
Account Holders with Last Names O-Z: Email service ended November 1, 2025
