TV, Internet & Phone Help Desk Expands Hours

The Cedar Falls Utilities all-fiber communications network is built for reliability. The phone, internet and TV system is configured to work, even when components fail.

Most service outages are prevented all together or confined to a small area and fixed fast. But sometimes, you may still need support troubleshooting a problem at your property or reconnecting after a service outage.

CFU’s local Help Desk is open to assist customers seven days per week. Help Desk staff can answer questions about our services and fix CFU equipment and connection problems.

With your permission, Help Desk staff can often access your equipment and devices remotely to complete necessary updates.

The Help Desk is now open longer hours to answer your calls. Help Desk staff is available 6 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to midnight on the weekends. CFU made this
change to offer additional support to business and residential customers.

When you call other TV, internet and phone providers, you may struggle to connect with a real person. When you call CFU, you talk to employees at our office on Utility Parkway. And if needed, our Help Desk can dispatch a service technician quickly to fix the problem.
