Report Utility Outages with CFU2Go

At CFU, we’re working to keep your utility and broadband services connected 24 hours a day. Even so, your service can be interrupted at times by lightning, wind, falling trees and other hazards. We are making it easier and faster to contact CFU if you have an outage. Quickly report an electric, internet or TV outage in any of these ways:

USE THE APP

The CFU2GO app is available for Android and iPhone. Visit cfu.net/app to download the app, and enter your CFU account number(s) in the settings. If electric, TV or internet service goes out, open the app and tap REPORT OUTAGE. You can also see a map of current electric outages and get status updates while power is being restored.

CLICK

Visit cfu.net and click the outage report link on our homepage. You’ll be asked to enter your CFU account number OR a phone number that matches our customer records to submit your outage report.

CALL

Call 319-268-6999 to report an outage. Usually your call will be answered by a CFU employee. During a widespread outage an automated attendant will answer. You’ll be asked to enter your CFU account number OR a phone number that matches our customer records. To update your phone number, call customer service at 319-268-5280.

If you smell gas:

  • Don’t use light switches
  • Leave the area immediately
  • Then call CFU at this number: 319-268-5340
