July 10 Update:
A Cedar Falls Utilities employee has tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The employee has not been to work since July 6 and will remain in quarantine until appropriate according to public health guidelines.
The employee works within a small group and does not have direct contact with customers. All coworkers of the infected employee have been notified.
CFU continues to provide essential utility services and does not anticipate any disruption to electric, gas, water or communication services due to the COVID-19 health threat.
