Start your Utilities

  • Start your electric, water and/or natural gas service using our online start form.
  • Or talk to our customer service specialists by calling us at 319-268-5280 Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • You can also visit our office at 1 Utility Parkway.

Get Connected

  • CFU offers TV, internet and phone service along with your utility services. Our all fiber broadband network has been built right to your door so you can get connected right away.
  • All services are installed by a CFU technician and backed by our local support team.
  • Get 250 mbps broadband internet and up to 95 channels with our New to CFU Special Offer for $120 per month for 6 months. Includes managed WiFi network, DVR + Advanced TV Features and CFU TV App to use on your TV streaming devices in your home.

Manage your Garbage and Yard Waste

  • The City of Cedar Falls Public Works Department (not CFU) provides sanitary sewer, garbage collection, yard waste and storm water management services.
  • For your convenience, CFU sends customers a single, combined monthly bill covering all services provided by both CFU and the City and assists customers with starting and stopping these services.

Access Online Utility Dashboard

  • ​Register for an online utility account to access your online dashboard where you can select billing preferences, submit meter reads, view and compare your utility usage and more.
  • You will need your 10-digit account number and last 4 digits of your Social Security Number to register.
  • Once you're registered, you can login here.

Choose How to Pay

  • We offer several easy ways to pay your utility bill. 
  • Don't worry about making your utility bill payment on time when you set up free Automatic Payment.
  • Sign up for Paperless Billing and no longer keep track of a monthly mailed statement. Earn a one-time $5 bill credit on your utility bill when you sign up for Paperless Billing and set up Automatic Payments.

  • Download the CFU2GO outage app and add your account info now so you are prepared if an outage occurs.
  • Contact our local help desk at 319-268-5221 for internet, phone and TV tech support weekdays from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. and weekends from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • For help with a billing or utility service questions, contact our customer service office at 319-268-5280 weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • If you smell gas don't use light switches, leave the area immediately and call CFU at 319-268-5340.
