Need access to the CFU CyberNet/WiFi network?

What do I need to get it?
Your device must be WiFi enabled. For example, if your laptop does not have an internal WiFi card, you can purchase one (802.11b or greater), available from office or electronics stores. Plug the card in, follow the manufacturer's instructions, and set the SSID to CFU. Open a web browser, point it at a site outside of the CFU network, and enter your username and password. You can surf the CFU website without having to login.
I don't have a CFU e-mail address. Can I still get access?
If you are a CFU Internet customer, you can use our WiFi service. Just call the Help Desk at 319-268-5221 and create an e-mail account. There will be a one-time $5 account change fee. You don't ever have to use the account for anything but WiFi access if you don't want to, but be sure to check out the advantages of CFU Webmail service.
I am not a CFU subscriber. Can I get access?
Sorry, but not at this time. WiFi users must be CFU Internet customers.
