If you ever receive an e-mail that claims to be from CFU asking you to e-mail us your password or other account information, it is fraudulent. CFU will never ask you to provide us your password through e-mail.
Phishing scams are a form of identity theft. The scammer sends you an e-mail that looks like it comes from a trusted source, such as CFU, your bank or credit card company, a government agency or an online retailer you've done business with. The e-mail will sound convincing and will ask you to reply with personal information, such as an account password or account number.
