Why can't I record On Demand programs?

When you are playing a program from the On Demand menu, you can't record it to your DVR. This is normal -- there's nothing wrong with your DVR. You can watch free programs or programming from premium services you receive (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, STARZ and Encore) any time you want for no additional cost. You can also pause, rewind, fast forward or stop and resume the programming while you watch, just as if you were playing a recording from your DVR.

Rented On Demand movies can't be recorded either, but you can watch them as many times as you want during the 24-hour rental window.
