Absolutely! If you still have access to email, send your request to support@cfu.net - otherwise you can cal 268-5221 for live operator assistance.

I got a "mail delivery failed" kind of message and checked it to find out what it was. It appears that a spammer has used my e-maill address as a "sent from" to send unpleasant (to put it mildly) spam to others. I'm worried that my e-mail or cpu is being used as a "bot." Only happened once, so far, that I know of. What can be done?

Unfortunately, due to the nature of email, there is very little you can do to prevent others from forging your email address.

If you are concerned about the possibility of your computer having been infected by a virus, it is advised that you update your virus scanner and scan your computer.

How do I save my password when I am logging on so that I don't have to type it in everytime?

CFU Webmail will not save your password for you, however, the most commonly used web browsers can do this. For instructions on setting up a particular browser to remember your passwords, follow the link appropriate to the browser that you use.

How can I change my password?

To change your CFU email account password, follow these steps.

After you have logged into CFU Webmail, click on the Options link in the menu on the left side of the screen.
Select the "Webmail" option directly below the "Options" menu
Select "Change your Password" at the top of the panel that opens
Type your current password into the "Current Password" box, then type the password you want to use in the the "New Password" and "Verify New Password" boxes.
Click on "Change Password"
Your password has been changed!
