CFU-CyberNet Email Retention Policy
April 17, 2003
CFU CyberNet Network Operations staff have adopted and implemented the
following policy regarding retention of email on the CyberNet Email cluster:
| Messages Folder | Days allowed |
| Trash | 7 |
| spam | 14 |
| Inbox (read) | 365 |
| Inbox (unread) | 180 |
These policies are in place to maintain our high level of service and to insure that email accounts are not placed into an over-quota status for an extended period of time.
Deleted message are not recoverable, so please adhere to the standard listed above
| *** | Scans are run on a regular basis on Saturday morning (effective 4/17/2003). |
| *** | Inbox (read) is defined as messages in your INBOX folder up to, and including, your last login. |
| *** | Inbox (unread) is defined as messages in your INBOX folder since your last login. |
